Lynn Peterson has over 20 years of experience as a singer. She has entertained crowds from Baja California up the California coast to the pacific northwest. She spent nine years in the Las Vegas/Reno area where she had the opportunity to entertain in some of the local casinos and bistros of Nevada.
Lynn's musical style varies from the sounds of the big band/swing era, jazz and country to the ever sweet Latin ballads she performed in Mexico. Lynn has shared the spotlight with some of the top musicians and bands in the area including, the Russ Patrick Band, Corky Bennett, Woody Woods, Lawrence T., George Snyder's Olyjazz Band and Dick Kastel, who's list of credits include the Harry James Band, Henry Mancini and Tony Bennett.
Lynn is now living with her family in the Pacific North West. Soon after moving to Port Angeles, Washington, she formed her own band, "Lynn Peterson and The Phatt Kattz", with the keyboard stylings of George Lindamood, and the sweet rhythms by Ron Newton on bass. Adding to the mix are trumpet man, Joey Lazzaro and Bob Haick on drums.
Lynn and the "Phatt Kattz" perform regularly around the peninsula including Club 7 at the 7 Cedars Casino. They also play the Lyre's Cajun Club and WOW, "wine on the waterfront" wine bistro both located in Port Angeles. The group can also be found during most of the peninsula's major jazz festivals throughout the year, as well as the Crab and Lavender Festivals. A recent addition to the Phatt Kattz is guitarist Skip Morris. He and Lynn perform monthly at Stymie's located at the Dungeness Golf Club in Sequim, which is an extension of 7 Cedars Casino.
